Our classes offer students a hands-on approach to learning. Focusing on personal exploration and discovery. Located in the beautiful city of El Segundo, we use backyard gardens, local parks, native gardens, and beaches to explore the world around us and apply the skills we are learning.
Classes
Nutrition & Cooking
Understand what makes a balanced diet, how to identify and classify foods, and how to prepare healthy balanced meals.
Gardening
Learn to grow fruits and veggies. The science of how they grow and the ecosystem they are part of.
Native Science
Learn about biology and anthropology through the study of native American history and traditions, native plant identification and uses, and native animal life cycles and habitats.
STEAM
Understand, design and create; circuits, code, structures, and systems to solve real world problems.
Volleyball
Outdoor grass volleyball for beginning and intermediate students.
Yoga
Enjoy a relaxing outdoor workout while building strength and flexibility.
POD
For groups of students who would like a customized curriculum to meet their needs and interests.
*Our classes can be tailored to students of all ages. Each session is limited to one or two age groups (pre-school, lower elementary, upper elementary, middle school, and high school) with a minimum of 2 students to open a session. All classes are non-sectarien.

Single classes - $150
$25 discount for multiple classes or siblings
Half day (8:30 - 12:00) - $400
POD classes - $600
Up to 6 students (1 hr for 8 weeks)

Drop-in classes $20

Hi, I'm Meisha, and I'm so excited to be sharing my love of learning with the next generation. I believe that life is a continuous journey of investigating and growing, and I've embraced that philosophy through my various roles and interests.
As an experienced teacher, I've had the privilege of shaping young minds and helping learners of all ages acquire knowledge. My dedication to education has allowed me to inspire and empower countless individuals on their learning journeys.
With my background in engineering, I've had the opportunity to work on innovative projects and tackle complex challenges. I love creating systems that make a positive impact on the world.
Gardening is not just my hobby; it's a way of life for me. I find solace and joy in tending to plants and fostering a deeper connection with nature.
As a coach and amature chef, I'm passionate about the incredible impact that food and exercise have on our lives, both in terms of our overall well-being and our ability to reach our goals.
