ABOUT

My passion for gardening started here in El Segundo when I signed up for a spot in our community garden. After enjoying that first crisp cucumber I was hooked.

In a never ending effort to put my engineering degree to some use I started playing around with planters. Through some trial and error I designed a raised bed that requires very little watering, grows a lot of food in a small space and incorporates a built in compost system.

I also integrated my passion for sustainability using only organic seeds, seedlings, soil, fertilizer, and pest control methods.

I have learned the importance of planning, having the right systems and materials, and keeping a close eye on the garden. I am excited to share this knowledge with you!
